Dan Gibson（丹·吉布森），1922年1月19日生于加拿大，蒙特利尔，是世界上最著名的自然录音大师。从小生长尼加拉瀑布附近的农庄里的Dan Gibson，十几岁的时候就开始用影像记录周围的自然景观。1946年他成立Dan Gibson制作公司，专门从事自然影像的拍摄。丹·吉布森对艺术的敏锐度、对自然的热忱、以及他筚路蓝缕的精神，不只彩绘了丹·吉布森的生命，也造就了Solitudes的成功。
