简介
詹姆斯·高威，1939年12月8日出生出北爱尔兰贝尔法斯特，长笛演奏家。 詹姆斯·高威出生在爱尔兰的一个“长笛之家”，他的祖父和父亲都吹得一手好长笛。幼年时期的高威仅仅学习两年，就在当地长笛比赛赢得两项大奖，让他坚定了以长笛为职业的决心。15岁高威考入英国最高音乐学府——英国皇家音乐学院，随后又考取法国政府奖学金，进入巴黎音乐学院。但是繁琐的音乐学院课程让高威难以忍受，他毅然中途退学，21岁回到英国，受聘考文特花园歌剧院乐团、BBC管弦乐团、伦敦管弦乐团、皇家管弦乐团等多家交响乐团。1969年高威被指挥大师卡拉扬发现，在柏林爱乐乐团担任长笛首席6年——对于一名长笛音乐家来说，这应该是事业的巅峰了。但是高威却认为，自己的音乐生涯才刚刚开始——“我要让世界听到我的音乐”。1975年，高威开始了个人独奏家的生涯，每场都反响热烈，短短一年就演出了120多场。
