1947年生于日本大阪。中川砂仁目前为日本首席Fingerstyle吉他作曲家、演奏家，在他吉他生涯中已出版了二十馀张吉他专辑，从早期的美式Blues，Ragtime曲风承袭了完整的吉他技巧，逐渐发展出自己的风格，以充满东方色彩的吉他音乐，在吉他界中有一片天，并跃上国际舞台。
